Nova Scotia bankruptcy Q&A forum

Question:

Am a single 50 something female who is battling an illness, receiving a govt pension, approx 25,000 credit card debt. I HAVE A MORTGAGE OF 155,000, PROPERTY ASSESSED 218,000. I ALWAYS make my payments on time but cannot afford repairs on my home...roof, etc. Or any upgrades/repairs. I want to sell, need to sell as I can't maintain a home,SNOW removal etc. With my health situation. Want to start anew. Am afraid my home won't sell to pay off mortgage, some of my debt etc. Looking for advice, speak to someone moving forward. This worry is doing damage on my already fragile health situation. Thank you.
